Good Catch recently announced that it closed a 10 million USD deal to fund a new production plant in Ohio, co-led by New Crop Capital and Stray Dog Capital, for its plant-based seafood products. The manufacturing facility will be ready by the end of 2019.

Good Catch will also produce new alternative seafood innovations at the facility, including vegan ‘crab’ cakes and fish-free ‘whitefish’ burgers, which will be available by 2020. Chris Kerr, Co-Founder and CEO of Good Catch, said: “We’re grateful to have partners in the plant-based foods sector who operate from a place of such confidence in our mission, and we’re incredibly confident about the future of plant-based protein.”
